摘要： Disclosed is a method for producing a biofuel. It comprises hydrolyzing an extract from a seaweed selected from a group consisting of red algae, brown algae, green algae or a combination therof in a presence of a heterogeneous catalyst; and converting the hydrolysate through enzymatic fermentation or chemical reaction into the biofuel. The heterogeneous catalyst can be recycled without a load of wastewater treatment and make the process simpler, thus enjoying a comparative advantage in terms of production cost and by-product treatment expense. In addition, the heterogeneous catalyst can be applied to a fixed bed reactor, allowing the process to be performed in a continuous manner. As a result, a smaller reactor can be employed at higher efficiency and productivity.

摘要： The present invention relates to a preparation method for alcohol by reacting carboxylic acid, alcohol, and hydrogen using hydrogenation catalysts. More specifically, the invention relates to a method for preparing alcohol by performing esterification and hydrocracking in a one-step process using hydrogenation catalysts instead of a two-step process. According to the invention, alcohol is prepared from carboxylic acid through esterification and hydrogenation in a one-step process using hydrogenation catalysts. Therefore, production costs and by-product treatment costs can be reduced in comparison to a the two-step process. In addition, the invention is effective and economical since it can produce alcohol at relatively high yield by a simple process. Further, the invention allows high yield at relatively lower pressure when compared to alcohol production from carboxylic acid through hydrogenation without esterification and solves the problems of leaching by catalysts.

摘要： The present invention relates to a method for extracting butyric acid by applying pressurized carbon dioxide to the fermented liquid produced from the strain that produces the butyric acid. More particularly, the present invention relates to a method for producing butyric acid by converting the butyrate salt bound with a cation contained in the fermented liquid produced from the strain that produces the butyric acid into a butyric acid which can be easily extracted by a solvent, by using pressurized carbon dioxide, and extracting butyric acid by using an organic solvent. Further, the present invention relates to a method for producing butanol by enabling the butyric acid extracted by the above-described method to react with hydrogen, and to a method for producing butanol by enabling the thus-extracted butyric acid to sequentially react with butanol and hydrogen. The present invention involves converting the butyrate salt contained in the fermented liquid into a butyric acid to significantly improve the efficiency of the solvent-extraction of butyric acid from the fermented liquid. As a result, the present invention produces a butyric acid in a biological manner as well as in an efficient and economically advantageous manner, and thus basically improves the competitiveness in price of bio-butanol which is produced using a biological method and a chemical method in sequence.

摘要： The invention relates to a method of converting butyric acid contained in a fermented liquid of carbohydrates into biofuel. More specifically, the invention relates to a chemical conversion method comprising: isolating biohydrogen from gas generated in the production of butyric acid through carbohydrate fermentation and extracting butyric acid in the fermented liquid by using an insoluble solvent; producing butylbutyrate from the butyric acid by esterification; hydrocracking all or a part of the produced butylbutyrate to yield butanol. Advantages of the invention lie in the facts that biobutanol can be produced in an economical and efficient manner and that the produced biobutanol has oxidation stability outweighing that of conventional biodiesel (fatty acid methyl esters), so butylbutyrate of a great value as novel biofuel may be produced together.

摘要： Disclosed is a method of preparing alkyl butyrate, which comprises: (a) producing a fermented liquid containing butyrate salt through a fermentation process using butyric acid-producing strains; (b) obtaining an extracted liquid containing butyric acid from a continuous extracting apparatus using an extraction solvent, after converting the butyrate salt into butyric acid by adding an inorganic acid except for carbonic acid or carbon dioxide into the fermented liquid, wherein the continuous extracting apparatus includes a plurality of extraction terminals which are installed inside an extraction column and perform a reciprocating motion vertically, and the fermented liquid and the extracted liquid are supplied to upper and lower portions of the column, respectively; and (c) reacting the extracted liquid and alcohol having a carbon number of 4 or less or a mixture thereof in an esterification reactor to convert a resultant product into alkyl butyrate. According to the present invention, butyric acid existing in microbic culture fluid can be efficiently extracted, and furthermore, competitively priced alkyl butyrate can be prepared without an additional process of separating the extracted solvent while minimizing energy consumption.
