    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rolling-fatigue testing apparatus by which a load and a displacement can precisely be controlled by a method wherein a wheel is driven to the vertical direction, an object to be rolled is driven to the horizontal direction and a hydraulic pressure or an oil flow rate is electrically servo-controlled on the basis of the detected vertical displacement and the detected horizontal displacement of the wheel and the object to be rolled. SOLUTION: An electrohydraulic servomechanism 42 is an electric hydraulic servomechanism. A digital drive-control signal which is output form a CPU inside a controller 41 is converted into an analog signal, and the analog signal is amplified so as to be output to a control valve. By an analog drive-control signal, a vertical hydraulic actuator 21 and a horizontal hydraulic actuator 31 are operated, the shaft of a wheel W to be tested is driven back and forth in the vertical direction, and a rail R to be tested is driven back and forth in the horizontal direction. At this time, the vertical load and the horizontal load of the wheel W to be tested and the rail R to be tested are detected by a vertical-load detector 43V and a horizontal-load detector 43H, a vertical displacement and a horizontal displacement are detected by a vertical- displacement detector 44V and a horizontal-displacement detector 44H, and the control valve is controlled by a controller 41. Thereby, the load and the displacement can be controlled by the actuators 21, 31.
