摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image excellent in resistance to scuffing by coating an image given by a liquid toner on its surface with a coating layer mainly comprising a specific copolymer with image quality improved because the coating layer gives the gloss to the image as well. SOLUTION: The surface of an image output by a recording technique which creates an image by using a liquid toner is coated with a solution mainly containing an organopolysiloxane graft copolymer and the coated layer is dried. The copolymer is preferably prepared by copolymerizing (A) an organopolysiloxane bearing a radical-polymerizable group and (B) a radical- polymerizable monomer mainly comprising a (meth)acrylic ester and/or styrene. The component A is preferably a radical-polymerizable silicone macromonomer of formula I (R is H, methyl; R is a 1-12C divalent hydrocarbon; R is mehyl, trimethylsiloxy; R is a 1-4C monovalent hydrocarbon; n is 3-200; m is 1-3). The component of formula I is prepared, for example, by reaction between compounds of formulas II and III.

摘要： PURPOSE:To perform safe leading of good workability and high quality by electroheating the covering layer on a fiber strand and removing the same by decomposition at the time of leading of an optical fiber. CONSTITUTION:An electric heating wire 8 is wound in a coil shape, and a power source transformer 10 is connected to this wire 8. Its heating temp. is made controllable by a changing-over switch 11. The secondary covering layer 7 of an optical fiber 1 is beforehand removed to expose a primary covering layer 6, and the exposed part is inserted and retreated into the cylinder of the wire 8, whereby it is heated. By such heating, the thermosetting resin such as epoxy resin of the primary covering layer 6 is smoothly and quickly heated and decomposed. The sludge formed by this decomposition is wiped away by a cloth or the like impregnated with an alcohol or the like. With such constitution, the safe leading of good workability and high quality is accomplished.

摘要： PURPOSE:To perform leading capable of maintaining high quality safely with good workability by dipping the covering layer on a fiber strand together with said strand in a heated high temperature oil or the like thereby decomposing and removing the same. CONSTITUTION:Oil 9 such as silicone oil or the like is filled in the upper cylinder of a cylindrical oil bath 8 composed of a metal, e.g., silver or the like and a cartridge heater 10 or the like as a heating means is contained in the lower part. The temperature of the oil 9 is controllable by the action of said heater 10. The entire part of the oil bath 8, except the opening in the upper part, is enclosed by a square heat insulator 11. The portion exposed with the primary covering layer 6 having removing the secondary covering layer 7 of the fiber 1 is dipped and heated in the oil 9 of the oil bath 8 constituted in this way. Thereby, the primary covering layer may be removed by thermal decomposition extremely smoothly and rapidly.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a pulverulent body which contains a copolymer obtained by polymerizing a reactive group-containing organopolysiloxane and a monomer or oligomer reactive therewith and which improves texture such as gloss and touch as well as the use feeling such as extensibility and feel even in the case of blending with other components, by specializing the shape as a plate and an aspect ratio thereof. SOLUTION: The pulverulent body has an aspect ratio of more than 1, preferably in the range of 5-50. A reactive group is a radically polymerizable one and a reactive monomer or oligomer may be radically polymerizable one. The pulverulent body is of the shape of a flake, of which thickness is preferably 0.1-2 μm. In addition, an average particle size is preferably 0.1-100 μm on the basis of the volume. A blend ratio (a weight ratio) of the organopolysiloxane to the monomer or oligomer is 0.1/99.0 to 50/50. The polymerization reaction is carried out by an emulsion-, solution-, or bulk-polymeization by using a radical initiator (e.g. benzoyl peroxide) in accordance with the usual process.
