摘要： Environmental control in a windowless building measures indoor factors including temperature, human activity and human body temperature and simulates the outdoor environment. As well as air conditioning control, which may be general or local to a particular work area, the system may generate ambient sound (fig 4), simulate outdoor rainfall, level and colour of illumination and humidity (figs 5 to 7), project coloured lighting or images (figs 8 and 9) or generate aromas. Outdoor scenes may be generated using false windows (figs 10 to 12). The scenes may be coordinated along a succession of windows (figs 15-16) and may be animated. Alternatively, images of model objects may be projected (figs 18 to 20). The auxiliary wall housing the false window structures may contain ducting for air-conditioning. Human activity may be detected using cameras with picture analysis, skin reflectivity, radar, door operation, speech or an ID card which serves as a transmitter. The system is said to provide an optimum combination of the controlled factors to give the greatest degree of comfort.

摘要： The assembly comprises a vertical transportation pipe disposed in a multi-floor building and equipped at its lower end with a shut-off valve capable of opening and closing inside the pipe. Carriers charge a waste container into the vertical transportation pipe. A brake decelerates the falling speed of the waste container and it is fitted to the lower part of the vertical transportation pipe. A member controls the charge of the waste container into the vertical transportation pipe by operating individually a carrier. The method comprises operating a carrier (3) and storing in it a waste container (2) among the carriers disposed at floors of the building. The waste containers are charged into a vertical transportation pipe (4) disposed inside the building. The speed of the falling waste container is decelerated at the lower part of the vertical transportation pipe in case the charge waste container breaks a shut-off valve disposed at the lower end of the vertical transportation pipe.

摘要： In a method for supplying aromas to a space, a plurality of aromatic materials are retained in respective reservoirs. A facility (200) may be provided with such an apparatus for supplying aromas, including a plurality of zones (210,220,230) each being provided with the apparatus (1), and a plurality of routes (260) for connecting the zones to each other.
