摘要： PURPOSE:To enable the measuring instrument at one place to measure settling quantities by layers and the underground water level simultaneously by coupling holed pipes for measurement which are fitted with measurement rings and cross arms movably by a coupling pipe and embedding them. CONSTITUTION:The pipes 11 and 11' where the measurement rings 13 and the horizontal cross arms 15 atop of the rings are fixed are coupled movably by the coupling pipe 12. Holes 17 are formed in those pipes 11, 11', and 12 and this instrument is embedded in the ground. Then a probe fitted atop of a cord with a scale is lowered into the pipe 11, and the positions of the measure ment rings 13 are detected by electromagnetic induction and read on the scale. Further, the underground water level is measured by lowering a specific elec trode in the pipes, so the settling quantities by layers and the underground water level can be measured by one measuring instrument, so that several instruments need not be stood and the cost is reducible.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a constant-water level infiltration testing device of a simple constitution by using a hermetically sealed container filled with water, and an injection pipe connected to its lower side, as components, and utilizing natural air pressure. CONSTITUTION:First of all, water is enclosed in a hermetically sealed container 21 and the container 21 of its own is supported by a stand 23. In this state, by setting the container 21, first of all, water in the container 21 starts to flow out into a test hole from an injection pipe 22. Subsequently, a water level in the test hole ascends, and when its water level ascends to a position of the lower end of the pipe 22, an outflow of water from the pipe 22 stops. Thereafter, water infiltrates steadily to the outside from the periphery of the test hole, by which the water level in the test hole goes down in accordance with the quantity of its infiltration. Accordingly, air goes in again to the inside of the container 21 from the lower end of the pipe 22, and by its portion, water is supplied into the test hole from the container 21. In such a way, by measuring the supply quantity of water from the container 21, etc., on the assumption that the water level is kept constant, the water infiltration of the test hole is checked.

摘要： PURPOSE:To provide a construction method which reliably prevents flowing out of filler and efficiently complete a land-slide protection wall as a system. CONSTITUTION:After a ditch 1 is dug to a given depth in the ground, steel pipe piles or sheet piles, etc. P1-P6 are driven-in in order in the ditch 1 previously dug. After driving-in of the piles at specified intervals is complete, partitions 4 for preventing filler from leaking are formed at opposite ends of a group of the piles P1-P6 positioned at specified intervals. The filler is poured into a space B surrounded with a pair of the partitions 4 and a bedrock to execute a back-filling. Said processes are repeated in order with the progress of excavation.
