    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method that can be effectively used for a measured specimen that does not undergo an enriching process and can detect a target substance mainly by mass spectrometry. SOLUTION: In this mass spectrometry method, a specified substance contained in a mixture sample containing the specified substance to be measured and substances other than the specified substance is ionized specifically with the use of a matrix capable of ionizing the specified substance more easily than the substances other than the specified substance, and the specified substance is selectively measured from the mixture. Preferably, the specified substance is peptide labeled by 2-nitrobenzene sulfenyl chloride, and the matrix is nitrobenzene derivative such as hydroxynitrobenzoic acid.
