    • PURPOSE:To obtain a picture of high quality emphasizing only the edge of an original picture without emphasizing a noise component included in the original picture by executing weak edge emphasis in a low luminance part and executing strong edge emphasis in a high luminance part. CONSTITUTION:This picture processor is provided with a non-linear circuit 1 for executing the non-linear processing of an original picture and then executing I/O conversion, an edge emphasizing circuit 2 for emphasizing the edge of the non-linearly processed picture and an adder 3 for adding the edge- emphasized picture to the original picture. The circuit 1 compresses the low luminance part of the original picture, extends its high luminance part and converts I/O characteristics into non-linearity. The circuit 2 executes the emphasis of the edge of the non-linearly converted picture. Thereby weak edge emphasis is executed in the low luminance part, strong edge emphasis is executed in the high luminance part and a component expressing the real edge is emphasized. When the edge-emphasized picture is applied to the original picture, only the edge of the original picture is emphasized.

    • PURPOSE:To lessen the X-ray dosage to the skin of a human body to be irradiated by controlling the effective filter thickness according to the information about the tube voltage, by increasing the filter thickness when the tube voltage is low, and thereby reducing soft X-ray. CONSTITUTION:The scope of irradiation is restricted by furnishing a lead cone 2 at the X-ray irradiation aperture of an X-ray tube 1, and in the neighborhood of the cone 2, a collimator 3 for X-ray is installed which has a movable filter device 4 confronting the cone 2, and is operated in conformity to the tube voltage signal given by an X-ray control device, not illustrated, i.e., a kV signal. The device 4 is formed from two aluminum plates 41, 42, for example in the form of varying thickness in wedge shape, and these are moved in opposite directions simultaneously as indicated by arrows and intruded into and retreated from the scope of X-ray irradiation so that the effective thickness varies. Because the device 4 is only required to have a varying effective thickness for the X-ray penetrating the device, its may also be accepted that aluminum plate of a certain thickness is rotated round the axis to adjust the X-ray amount passing. In this manner, soft X-ray are lessened which do not contribute to photo-sensing of an image intensifier.

    • PURPOSE:To observe and confirm a photographic image at the time of photographing by obtaining an X-ray image signal from a CCD camera, allowing it to pass through a recursive filter circuit, imparting a residual image effect thereto, and thereafter, transmitting it to an image display device and displaying it. CONSTITUTION:At the time of radioscopy, X rays of a small of a small dose are radiated from an X-ray tube 3 and a video signal is obtained by an image intensifier 6 and a CCD camera 7. The CCD camera 7 scarcely has a residual image, therefore, let a recursive filter coefficient be small. In such a way, radioscopy is executed, and when barium comes to a target part, film photographing is instructed by operating an X-ray controller 5. In an X-ray radioscopic photographing stand 1, an X-ray film is carried on the front of the image intensifier 6 and X rays of a large dose are exposed. A radioscopic signal and a photographing signal transmitted to an image processor 8 are turned off and on, respectively, and the recursive filter coefficient becomes larger from small one. As a result, a residual image effect becomes large and an image at the time of photographing is displayed on a display image plane of a monitor device 9.
