    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely perform the pressurization for a long time in a transverse sealing process and to improve the working environment where disagreeable noise has been generated even in an application to a high-speed filling and packaging machine by providing a buffer material on a part of one engagement member on which a tip part of at least the other engagement member is abutted. SOLUTION: A buffer material 30 is provided on a part in which a tip part is abutted on a fixed engagement member 21 through oscillation of a movable engagement member 22. The shape of the buffer material 30 is not limited to those of circular section, and the section of the buffer material such as rectangular one can be appropriately set. When the buffer member 30 is fixed to the fixed engagement member 21, a part of a large diameter part of the buffer member 30 is preferably projected on an upper surface 21b of the fixed engagement member 21. When oscillation arms 12, 13 are in the vicinity of the closing position, the movable engagement member 22 is turned together with a hydraulic cylinder 22 from the upright posture to the horizontal posture, and its tip part is abutted on the buffer material 30 provided on the fixed engagement member 21. Pressurization in the transverse sealing process can surely be performed for a long time.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid filling and packaging apparatus capable of precisely controlling a liquid face level of a filling liquid in a tubular packaging material molded in a tubular shape and preventing the filling liquid from spouting up and becoming insufficient.
      SOLUTION: The liquid filling and packaging apparatus includes a filling tube 12 equipped with a flow-adjusting valve 14 driven by a servo motor 16, a pressure sensor 18 provided on the upstream side of the flow-adjusting valve 14 and for detecting the pressure of the filling liquid fed from a filling liquid tank, a float 20 floated on the filling liquid filling the tubular packaging material B and equipped with a magnet, a magnetic sensor 22 for detecting a change in strength of a magnetism accompanying vertical movements of the float 20 equipped with the magnet, and a controlling means 24 for controlling the servo motor 16 to adjust the amount of opening of the flow-adjusting valve 14 based on the results of detection of the pressure sensor 18 and the magnetic sensor 22.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tube-forming method, an apparatus therefor, etc., in which there is no occurrence of wrinkles in a web and there is also no possibility of breaking the web when a rectangular parallelopiped-shaped packaging container is formed by using a plate-like web through a step of making a tubular web. SOLUTION: This tube forming method forms a plate-like web into a tubular web while transferring the plate-like web along roller faces formed by a plurality of rollers 11-13 constituting a forming roller 4. In this method, a roller support plate 16 is rotated by a tightening member 29 while its positional regulation is being effected by rollers 25 provided to a roller mounting arm 23 so that the web is transferred with the virtual center axis (point X) of the tubular web, which is formed by the roller faces of the rollers 11-13, as reference. Thereby, the web can be accurately transferred in its longitudinal direction so that it extends in a predetermined direction fixed by the rollers 11-13. As a result, when a rectangle-columnar web is formed from the tubular web, a product having high forming accuracy can be obtained in which a fold line of the web extending in the longitudinal direction becomes in alignment with an arris in the longitudinal direction of the prismatic web.
