摘要： A green-sensitive silver halide photographic emulsion for use in photographic materials containing dye developers suitable for the diffusion transfer process containing, in combination, at least one of the sensitizing dyes represented by the formula I.

wherein Y is selected from the group consisting of a sulfur atom and a selenium atom, Z represents a divalent group necessary to form a benzene ring, which may be substituted, Z1 represents a divalent group necessary to form a benzene ring, which may be substituted, R5 and R6 are each selected from the group consisting of an alkyl group, a substituted alkyl group which is conventionally present in cyanine dyes and an allyl group, at least one of R5 and R6 being an alkyl group or a substituted alkyl group containing a group selected from the group consisting of a carboxyl group and a sulfo group, X2 is an anion, p is an integer of from 1 to 2, said dye forming an intramolecular salt when p is 1, is disclosed.
