摘要： An integrated sample testing meter, for instance for measuring blood, comprising a lancing device, an electrochemical sensor and a test strip cartridge disposed in a single modular housing. The test strip cartridge includes a stack of test strips suitable for performing an electrochemical or photometric analysis of a blood sample. The integrated test system automatically dispenses and positions a test strip in proximity to a lancet puncture site, automatically transfers a blood sample to the test strip from the lancet puncture site and automatically analyzes the blood sample after the test strip collects the sample from the puncture site.

摘要： A distributor for a coffee machine and a method for making coffee with options for selected quantity and types of coffee to be served are disclosed. The distributor has three fluid passages and operable between first and second positions. In the first position a first passage is adapted to receive a water and coffee mixture from a first hopper to be delivered to a first brewer or a second passage is adapted to receive a water and coffee mixture from a second hopper to be delivered to a second brewer. The invention provides a simple distribution system for the coffee machine with options for selected quantities and types of coffee. 摘要： Aircraft capable of vertical takeoff and landing, hovering, and efficient forward flight are described. An aircraft includes two side mounted tiltable proprotors and a central rotor disposed above the proprotors. The proprotors are tiltable between at least a horizontal position for forward flight and a vertical position for vertical or hovering flight. The central rotor may be powered for vertical and transitional flight modes and may turn by free autorotation during forward flight. The proprotors may be differentially tilted during vertical or hovering flight to counter torque effects of the central rotor. The central rotor may be foldable and/or easily detachable from the aircraft to facilitate storage and transportation. Left and right proprotors may provide both forward thrust and attitude control. 摘要： A brewer for providing a single cup of coffee which comprises an outer cylindrical tubular member having an open top and a platform formed on the top. A slidable second cylindrical tubular member reciprocates within the first tubular member along the axis thereof and is provided with a gasket at the top thereof in sealing contact with the inner surface of the first tubular member. A permanent filter is provided at the top of the second cylindrical tubular member. A fixed piston head is located within the second cylindrical tubular member and is fixed relative to the first tubular member. A wiper is provided on the top platform of the first tubular member such that when the filter is in its uppermost position, the wiper can be activated to clean the coffee grounds from the filter. A pour spout is provided in the second cylindrical member which communicates with the fluid once the pour spout is above the level of the piston head. In operation, the filter moves downwardly towards the piston head such that air passes upwardly through the water and coffee grounds on the filter to agitate the mixture and then upwardly towards the top of the first tubular member such that a negative pressure is created between the filter and the piston head to draw the solution through the filter and eventually out by means of the spout in the wall of the second cylindrical tubular member.
