    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the stroke adjustment of the right and left halves of a movable blade without losing cutting function in the case where a movable blade is divided into right and left parts and the both parts are reciprocally moved in opposite directions to each other in order to reduce vibration and noise in a clipper-type cutting apparatus. SOLUTION: A right half and a left half of the cutting width of a cutting apparatus are constructed in a mechanism of independent clipper-type blades, and this enables the easy stroke adjustment of the right and the lest movable blade. A space, in which at least the front end is open to a lateral of a machine body, is formed between the right and the left fixed blade of the right and the left cutting blade mechanism existing at the inner end of the machine body. This enables the prevention of the catch or clogging of stalks, etc., into the space between the right and the left cutting blade mechanism without placing a stalk guide. Further, the right and the left movable blade existing at the inner end of the right and the left cutting blade mechanism are made to overlap to the right and the left fixed blade at the rear part of the space 60 facing to the lateral of the machine body to prevent the clogging of a stalk into the space 60 caused by the right and the left movable blades and at the same time to suppress the occurrence of a non-cutting stalk.
