    • PURPOSE:To stabilize an oscillating circuit in an electronic timepiece wherein a timepiece circuit is constituted of insulated gate field effect transistor (FETR) by inserting a Schottky diode into a driving circuit. CONSTITUTION:The drain of the complementary symmetrical insulated gate FETR P-channel transistor (TR) 9 of a driving circuit 6 is connected to the anode of a Schottky diode 10 and the anode of the diode 10 is connected to the drain of an N-channel transistor 11, from which an output is drawn out and is connected to the base of a bipolar transistor 13. Large current load 12 is connected between VDD and the collector of the TR13, and the emitter electrode thereof is connected to VSS. When such a signal that turns large current load such as buzzer or lamp on is applied to the gate electrodes of the TRs9, 11 in case the internal resistance of a battery is normal, a voltage drop is generated but the source voltage is in excess of said voltage; therefore the stable source voltage is supplied still to an oscillating circuit. Even when the internal resistance of the battery increases, the source voltage enough to sustain stable oscillations is supplied to the oscillating circuit on account of the current flowing to the large current load.
