    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technique capable of calculating a position at a desired past time at a later time even when imaging position calculation cannot be completed at required timing when position information is given to an image taken by a digital camera, etc.SOLUTION: A position calculation method includes: detecting hand-shake vibration in an imaging part of an imaging apparatus (step S20); saving a present time (step S30); measuring sensor data including at least acceleration information of the imaging apparatus (step S30); determining whether the detected hand-shake vibration is in a predetermined state or not (step S60); and saving the present time and the sensor data in association with each other when the detected hand-shake vibration is determined to be in the predetermined state, and calculating the position of the imaging apparatus through the use of the absolute position of the imaging apparatus determined based on signals from a satellite and the sensor data (step S70).
