摘要： A method and apparatus for automatically generating a three-dimensional computer model from a "point cloud" of a scene produced by a laser radar (LIDAR) system. Given a point cloud of an indoor or outdoor scene, the method extracts certain structures from the imaged scene, i.e., ceiling, floor, furniture, rooftops, ground, and the like, and models these structures with planes and/or prismatic structures to achieve a three-dimensional computer model of the scene. The method may then add photographic and/or synthetic texturing to the model to achieve a realistic model.

The heat exchanger assembly (101) includes a heat exchanger (105) comprising of a bank of vertical parallel heat exchange tubes (106) of short height open at both ends. The heat exchanger (105) is arranged around the periphery of a chimney (103) of a natural draft tower (102) in a substantially circular plan. Means (110-112) are provided to spray the evaporative liquid from a particular height over the heat exchanger (105) co-current to the natural air draft. The heat exchanger assembly (101) operates as an improved evaporative condenser.

摘要： The utilization of low grade heat for concentration of cane or beet juice through evaporation using low pressure vapours or steam in single or multi effects evaporation is described in the present invention. In the present invention, this low pressure steam or vapours from pans, evaporators and exhaust turbines which are otherwise discarded as waste from the system is used for concentration of the cane or beet juice. This low pressure operation or low pressure boiling of juice reduces inversion, scale and colour formation with reduced sugar losses through inversion. Another positive effect of present invention is that power generation through the turbine increase considerably because of the elimination of bleed steam. This further improves the turbine efficiency and save fuel for the same designed power output.
