    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply circuit reducing voltage fluctuation by unnecessitating an expensive power source transformer by composing the power supply circuit of a rectifier, switching part, heater as a voltage drop resistor, and capacitor. SOLUTION: First of all, water is put into a vessel and the power source plug of an electric hot-water heater is connected to a power supply socket. When an AC power source 17 is positive potential, a current flows to a rectifier D1, 1st lead wire 24, capacitor 39, 4th lead wire 37, diode 38, 2nd lead wire 25, rectifier D2 and heater 5 and the voltage at both the terminals of the capacitor 39 starts increasing. Since the voltage at both the terminals of the capacitor 39 is still low, a switching part 33 is turned off. When the voltage at both the terminals of the capacitor 39 gets higher than the Zener voltage of a Zener diode 35, a current flows to a detection circuit 34, a gate current flows to the switching part 33, and the switching part 33 is turned on. The current flows from the AC power source 17 to the rectifier D1, 1st lead wire 24, switching part 33, rectifier D2 and heater 5.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make do with a small circuit substrate and to improve safety by controlling a circuit by a control part so as to inform a user of disorder by an information means when an electric voltage detecting part detects that an electric voltage between both terminals exceeds a specified value of a smoothing condenser. SOLUTION: An electric voltage being at least a specified value of an electric voltage between both terminals of a smoothing condenser 30 is applied on a Zener diode 39 by an electric voltage detecting part 41 connected to the smoothing condenser 30 and an electric current is energized in the Zener diode 39 to turn a transistor 40 on and a signal H is input in the terminal P8 of a control part 35. The control part 35 judges that an electric source circuit 52 is out of order based on this input and outputs a control signal to an information means 49. As the result, a temp.-holding lamp 47 turns on and off by a quick frequency and the information means 49 informs a user the disorder. Thereby only a small circuit substrate will do and temp. elevation of the circuit base is small and safety is improved.

    • PURPOSE:To rapidly and exactly inspect and to supply a product having excellent quality by providing means for starting an inspection mode merely by setting a supply power source to a value except a commercial power source frequency. CONSTITUTION:When a power source frequency is decided to be the same as that of a commercial power source, a normal process mode is set. When it is decided to be a different value, an inspection mode is set. A warmth- keeping heater 2 is energized, and power of a warmth-keeping state can be inspected. Then, when a switch SW1 is pressed, a water heater 1 is energized, and power consumption of a water heating state can be inspected. In order to prevent overheat by the heaters 1, 2, when a detected temperature of a temperature detector 9 becomes a predetermined value or more, the heaters 1, 2 are turned off. Thus, when a power source having a predetermined frequency out of a commercial power source frequency is used, the inspection mode can be automatically started, water heating or warmth-keeping can be arbitrarily selected by an operation of the switch SW1, the inspection can be rapidly and exactly executed, and a product having excellent quality can be supplied.

    • PURPOSE:To restrain the release of steam to the outside, and also to obtain a heating/ cooking appliance with good usability, when the steam generated from the article to be heated is passed through a steam passage and is introduced to a heat exchanger for condensing it into water, by arranging the steam passage and the heat exchanger in the inside of the apparatus. CONSTITUTION:When rice and water are housed in a vessel 7 and a heater 8 is electrified for heating them, the steam generated passes through an inner cover 28 and is filled in the space under an outer cover 21, and then passing through steam pipes 24, 17, it is introduced into a heat exchanger 11. When it passes through the heat- radiating part 15, the heat energy retained by the steam is deprived through a heat- radiation fin group 14 and then is stored in a heat-storing material 16. As a result, steam is condensed and converted into water, and turning into dew, it flows out into a second dew receiver 19. In this case, since the steam passage formed by the steam pipes 17, 24 and the heat exchanger 11 is successively lowered from a steam intake port 26 to the second dew receiver 9, the water condensed into dew in the inside of the steam passage can successively flow into the dew receiver 9. Thus, since generated steam can be securely converted into water in the inside of the appliance, a scald due to the bust of high-temperature steam can be prevented.
