    • PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a toner is provided to improve the quality of images while securing the superior glossiness and perservability of the toner. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a toner includes the following: a polyester resin dispersed solution, a coloring agent dispersed solution, and a wax dispersed solution are mixed. A coagulant is added into the mixture to coagulate toner particles. The coagulated toner particles are combined. The number average molecular weight of the polyester resin is between 4,000 and 7,000. The weight average molecular weight of the polyester resin is between 18,000 and 30,000. The max peak position of the polyester resin is between 4,000 and 10,000. The polydispersity index of the polyester resin is between 2 and 5. The acidity of the polyester resin is between 10 and 14mg KOH/g.
