摘要： The present invention relates generally to communication systems, and more specifically, but not exclusively to a method and apparatus for quality of service control for a user equipment in a communication system comprising a home network with respect to the user equipment and a visited network. In accordance with a first aspect of the present invention, there is provided a method of quality of service control for a user equipment in a communication system comprising a first network and a second network, the first network being a home network with respect to said user equipment and the second network being a visited network with respect to said user equipment, the method comprising: receiving authorisation information at said user equipment from the first network, said authorisation information having data related to an entitlement to quality of service for said user equipment; holding said authorisation information at said user equipment; performing a comparison of said entitlement to quality of service with a quality of service provided by the second network; and in dependence on said comparison, sending a message from said user equipment to the second network requesting an upgrade of quality of service.

摘要： User apparatus 2 in a cellular wireless network 14 comprises a user equipment 4 having a first network interface 6 comprising a radio transceiver 8 for communicating via the cellular wireless network 14. The radio transceiver 8 may be set to a first state or to a second state. The user apparatus 2 has a second network interface 10 to a second network 16. A call to the user apparatus 2 is handled by detecting, via the second network interface 10, a request to receive a communication and dependent on the detection of the request via the second network interface 10, switching the radio transceiver 8 to the second state. The communication is then received at the user equipment 4 via the radio transceiver 8. As a result, the user equipment may receive the communication via the cellular wireless network without the need for the user equipment to be continuously camped on the cellular wireless network, so that the cellular wireless network may reduce provisioning of network resources and so reduce power consumption.

摘要： A method of supporting handover of a terminal by a mobility management entity (MME) of a mobile communication system is provided. The method includes receiving, from a base station, a first message for handover to another network. The first message includes information on a cell to which the terminal is handed over. The method also includes transmitting, to a server, a second message for reporting information related to a location of the terminal and for providing a location continuity based on the first message. A terminal having both a 3GPP communication function and a WiFi function automatically switches on and off a WLAN according to a location, setting, or a pattern of a user, thereby preventing unnecessary battery consumption or performance deterioration and searching for an available WLAN in advance to access the WLAN.

摘要： A method and apparatus of an AMF controller in a wireless communication system are provided. The method and apparatus include: registering a first SIM based on a first registration request message and registering a second SIM based on a second registration request message which has a GUTI for the first SIM. Further, the method and apparatus include: receiving at least one of downlink data and signaling information for the second SIM when a N1 NAS is in CM-Connected state for the first SIM, and transmitting a NAS message indicating at least one of the downlink data and the signaling information for the second SIM over the N1 NAS connection of the first SIM.
