摘要： A method and apparatus for transmitting/receiving reference signals in Long Term Evolution (LTE) and LTE-Advanced (LTE-A) systems includes determining whether a dedicated reference signal is detected in a current subframe; estimating, if a dedicated reference signal is detected in the current subframe, a data channel using the dedicated reference signal to receive data; and estimating, if no dedicated reference signal is detected in the current subframe, a data channel using a common reference signal detected in the current subframe to receive data. The transmission scheme uses a DeModulation Reference Signal (DM-RS) for channel response estimation. To secure backward compatibility of the LTE-A system, a Common Reference Signal is transmitted in normal subframes.

摘要： Multiple Transport Blocks (TBs) or data streams are provided in Multi-Input-Multi-Output (MIMO) wireless communication systems herein. The base station (eNB) controls and schedules all downlink and uplink transmission to and from User Equipments, which need to receive an uplink grant from BS/eNB before they transmit. The uplink grant is carried as one of the control indication message in the downlink. The BS/eNB also transmits ACK/NACK information in the HARQ indication channel to the UE for each of the transport blocks. The UE detects the control indication to determine the actual uplink scheduling, as well as the HARQ indication. A method of transmitting a control indication message, which contains a detailed transmit format for one of the TBs to be transmitted, while allowing simultaneous communications on the other TBs is also enclosed.

摘要： A base station in a downlink of a wireless communication system requires downlink channel status information of terminals to transmit link-adaptive transmission to the terminals. This channel status information is generated as a terminal receives a reference signal to be transmitted via the downlink, and fed back to the base station through a control channel of the uplink. Therefore, an increase in the transmission cycle of the reference signal and the feedback cycle of the channel status information may increase a difference between the channel status having been fed back from a terminal to the base station and the channel status at the point when data is actually transmitted to the terminal, thereby causing inefficient link-adaptive transmission and deteriorating the system performance. The present invention thus provides a method and apparatus for designing an uplink periodic feedback structure for reducing the channel status difference in case a reference signal for the estimation of a downlink channel status is transmitted over a prolonged cycle, and distributing a feedback overhead of terminals in terms of the system.
