    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil-separator having a higher separation efficiency than that of the prior art.SOLUTION: An oil-separator comprises: a container 10 having an inner peripheral surface 14 having a circular section normal to a central axis O1; an introduction pipe 20 having an introduction port 21 for introducing an oil containing coolant into the container 10 and extending through the side wall of a container 19 so as to flow the oil containing coolant downward from upward while circulating the oil containing coolant along an inner circumference 14; a coolant lead-out pipe 30 having a lead-out port 32 positioned below the introduction port 21 for leading out the separated coolant after the oil separated, from the container 10, and extending upward from the lead-out port 32 along the central axis O1. In the cross section containing the tube axis O2 of the introduction pipe 20 and normal to the central axis O1, the tip 20a of the introduction pipe 20 across the tube axis O2 is positioned on a first virtual plane X1 parallel to the central axis O1. The clearance L1 between the first virtual plane X1 and a second virtual plane X2 parallel to the first virtual plane X1 and contacting with the outer circumference 31 of the coolant lead-out pipe 30 is made 0.32 times or more of the internal diameter D1 of the introduction pipe 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
