摘要： A device and a method for searching a highlight section with lyric are provided to enable a user quickly to search a song by setting the highlight section to an audio file based on the lyric, and searching the highlight section from the audio file based on a character string unit and playing the highlight section when the user searches the audio file. A title/lyric extractor(110) extracts title/lyric information from the audio file. A character string comparator(130) searches a character string including the title information and a repeated character string based on the extracted title/lyric information. A highlight selector(150) selects one highlight character string among the searched character strings and sets up the highlight section based on the selected highlight character string. The character string comparator includes a title searcher(131) searching the character string with the title information from the lyric information by comparing the extracted title information with the extracted lyric information and includes a repeated section searcher(132) searching the character string repeated in the extracted lyric information.
