    • A packet-based retransmission apparatus for a DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) service is provided to rapidly achieve channel changeover by enabling a terminal to receive and process video information, required for channel changeover, through a specific IP channel so that all received MPEG-2 TSs(Transport Streams) can be analyzed immediately after DMB video channels are switched over. A packet-based retransmission apparatus for a DMB service comprises a DMB receiving part(51), a DMB transport mode release part(52), a channel information extraction part(53), a data information extraction part(54), a channel information DB(55), the first IP streamer(56-1), and the second IP streamer(56-2). The DMB receiving part(51) receives DMB data from the outside. The DMB transport mode release part(52) releases a DMB transport mode in the received DMB data and outputs an MPEG-2 TS. The channel information extraction part(53) extracts channel information from FIC(Fast Information Channel) of the received DMB data while the DMB transport mode release part(52) is releasing the DMB transport mode from the DMB data. The data information extraction part(54) receives the outputted MPEG-2 TS and extracts data information which indicates the location of a basic stream. The channel information DB(55) stores the extracted channel information and data information as channel data. The first IP streamer(56-1) executes IP streaming for the MPEG-2 TS. The second IP streamer(56-2) executes IP streaming for the channel data stored in the channel information DB(55).

    • PURPOSE: A method and a device for an intra encoding by searching fast intra mode are provided to search rapid intra encode mode, thereby generating prediction block. CONSTITUTION: A comparator(574) obtains a first intra mode coding mode having a minimum value and a first minimum value which applied a first intra encode mode. The comparison device compares the obtained first minimum value with a predetermined threshold value. The comparison device determines whether to encode a second marco block into intra encode modes corresponding to the number of the second marco block or not according to the comparison result. An intra prediction block selector(576) generates intra prediction block according to comparison result from the comparison device.
