    • A device for spraying an inner surface of a toilet bowl with a cleaning and/or deodorizing chemical is disclosed. The device can include a container for the chemical, a sprayer through which the chemical can be sprayed laterally at least halfway around a perimeter of the sprayer, means for attaching the sprayer near a rim of the toilet bowl, a fluid conduit in fluid communication with the container and the sprayer, and a manually operated pump for delivering chemical from the container through the fluid conduit and to the sprayer when the pump is operated. In one version, the pump includes a pump chamber in fluid communication with the container, a discharge conduit in fluid communication with the pump chamber and in fluid communication with the fluid conduit, and a piston that reciprocates in the pump chamber for drawing fluid from the container into the pump chamber and moving fluid from the pump chamber through the discharge conduit and into the fluid conduit. The device can apply chemical around the entire circumference of the inner surface of the toilet bowl.

    • A device 10 for selectively dispensing ones of multiple fluids, preferably cleaning agents, is disclosed. The device includes a reservoir 50 and a container assembly 100 that can include at least one container body 105, 110, 112, 114, 116. The reservoir 50 houses a diluent "D," for example, water, and each container body 105, 110, 112, 114, 116 houses a concentrate "C," for example, a concentrated form of a cleaning agent. Each container body 105, 110, 112, 114, 116 has an outlet assembly 200 with a nozzle 260, so that container assemblies 100 with multiple container bodies 105, 110, 112, 114, 116 correspondingly include multiple nozzles 260. The diluent "D" and concentrates "C" are kept separate from each other, whereby no end use product is stored in the device 10. Rather, end use product is mixed on demand during dispensation, as part of the dispensing act. Namely, diluent "D" is pumped through an outlet assembly 200, drawing concentrate "C" thereinto which mixes into the end use product while exiting the device 10.

    • Disclosed are automated aerosol dispensers for delivering chemicals (e.g. cleaners, fragrances, insect control agents) from the dispenser to selected locations (e.g., the air; a toilet bowl; a shower enclosure). There is an actuator ( 24 ) (e.g. a push button or a foot pedal) for initiating dispensing, and a holder ( 9 ) for an aerosol container ( 22 ). The aerosol container stores the chemical before use. There is a switch ( 28 ) associated with the holder that recognizes when the aerosol container has been mounted to the holder, and when thereafter that aerosol container has been dismounted from the holder. A controller ( 31 ) controls dispensing of the chemical from the aerosol container in response to actuation. The controller has a timer that determines the amount of time that chemical is to be delivered from the aerosol container upon the dispenser being actuated by the actuator. A database is provided for assisting the controller in varying the time that the timer permits dispensing in response to activation. The system thus can correct for pressure drop off in the can as the can nears empty.
