摘要： An injection molding machine comprises a pre-pressure addition means 2 adding a pre-pressure B acting in the opposite direction of a molding material pressure A received by a screw 1 to a detection means 3 and/or the screw 1, the detection means 3 detecting the axial pressures A and B of the screw, and a screw movement control means 4 controlling the axial pressure based on a different between the pre-pressure B and the molding material pressure A, wherein the pre-pressure addition means 2 is made non-contact with the direction means 3, a forward and backward driving motor 17 is disposed adjacent to a heating cylinder 10, and a screw connector 21 at the rear end of the screw 1 is spline-connected inside a rotating rotor of a screw rotating motor 12. According to the machine, the molding material pressure received by the screw can be accurately detected without being affected by the wear of the machine so as to properly control the axial pressure of the screw and to make the machine compact.

摘要： Mold clamping apparatus is disclosed which includes: an electrically-operated movable-platen-driving device of ball-screw type having a first ball-screw shaft supported by one of a movable and a rear platens, a first ball-nut threaded-engaged with the first ball-screw shaft and supported by the other of the movable and rear platens, and a movable-platen driving device for rotating the first ball-screw shaft and nut relative to each other so as to generate a relative longitudinal motion of the first ball-screw shaft and nut so that said movable platen is moved toward and away from a stationary platen to close and open the mold; a pressure-generating cylinder device having a pressure-generating piston moved by the relative longitudinal motion of the first ball-screw shaft and nut in order to generate a hydraulic pressure; and a mold clamping cylinder device adapted to generate a mold clamping force based on the hydraulic pressure applied from the pressure-generating cylinder device; and an engaging device which is operable for connecting a mold clamping ram of the mold clamping cylinder device with the movable platen, for applying the mold clamping force to the movable platen. The method of controlling operation of the apparatus is also disclosed.

摘要： A mold clamping apparatus including a moving device for moving a movable plate relative to a stationary plate. The moving device includes (a) a plurality of ballscrew shafts each of which extends from the stationary plate toward the movable plate, and each of which is supported at an axis end portion thereof by the stationary plate, so as to be rotatable relative to the stationary plate and so as not to be displaceable relative to the stationary plate in an axial direction thereof; (b) a plurality of servo motors which drive the respective ballscrew shafts, and which are disposed on one of opposite sides of the movable plate remote from the stationary plate, each of the servo motors having a rotor which is connected to the other axial end portion of the corresponding one of the ballscrew shafts such that the rotor and the corresponding ballscrew shaft are rotatable together; and (c) a plurality of ballscrew nuts which engage the respective ballscrew shafts and are fixed to the movable plate, so as to be moved in the axial direction with rotations of the respective ballscrew shafts, for thereby carrying the movable plate in the axial direction.
