摘要： The present invention provides an industrially very advantageous process for producing prostaglandins E.sub.1 with fewer steps and in higher yield. The process comprises reacting a 7-hydroxyprostaglandin E with a reactive derivative of an organic sulfonic acid in the presence of a basic compound to form the corresponding 7-organic sulfonyloxyprostaglandin E, treating the resulting 7-organic sulfonyloxyprostaglandin E, after or without isolation, in the presence of a basic compound to form a .DELTA..sup.7 -prostaglandin E, thereafter selectively reducing the carbon-carbon unsaturated bond existing on the .alpha.-chain. Some of the 7-hydroxyprostaglandins E and .DELTA..sup.7 -prostaglandins E used in the process are novel compounds.

摘要： The present invention relates to a method to achieve a reversible change of the colour of hair dyed with an azo dye wherein the change of the colour can be effected by, for example, the salonist or the consumer in a simple manner. The colour of the hair thus dyed may be changed simply by treating the dyed hair with an acid treatment composition at any time after the first dyeing treatment. If desired by the consumer, the colour may be returned to substantially the original post dye colour by treating the hair further with an alkaline treatment composition.

摘要： A method of forming a color image comprising developing a silver halide photographic light-sensitive material with a developing solution containing an aromatic primary amine is disclosed. The developing is carried out in the presence of a coupler represented by the general formula (I) described below and/or a polymer coupler which is a polymer or copolymer having a repeating unit derived from a vinyl monomer containing a part represented by the general formula (I) described below in its molecule: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2, which may be the same or different, each represents a hydrogen atom or a substituent; and X represents a hydrogen atom or a group capable of being released upon coupling.The magenta color forming coupler represented by the general formula (I) or the polymer coupler containing the part represented by the general formula (I) has a good color forming property and provides a magenta color image having an excellent spectral absorption property free from subsidiary absorptions in the region around 430 nm and good fastness. A silver halide photographic light-sensitive material containing the magenta coupler is also disclosed.
