    • An elevator, particularly for transporting passengers, has an elevator car guided in an elevator shaft a direct drive motor. The drive motor includes an active primary part at the elevator car and a passive secondary part that is fixed in the elevator shaft and is spaced from the primary part by an air gap. In order to achieve a high power capability, the drive motor is configured as a transverse flux motor that moves the primary part linearly relative to the secondary part under the influence of an electromagnetic propulsive force. The secondary part has at least one rail made of a soft magnetic material and subdivided into a plurality of segments having a predetermined length. The segments are fixed to a wall of the elevator shaft by intermediate elements.

    • A device is described for mechanically coupling an actuator to a valve which is adjustable by a plunger that is displaceable along a z-axis. The device has (a) a retaining element which can be mounted on a connecting chassis of the actuator and which is embodied for engaging on two opposite sides of a connection piece of a valve body in a recess incorporated in the connection piece, and (b) a clamping device which is disposed on a section of the retaining element and which is embodied in such a way that when the clamping device is actuated the section of the retaining element is displaced parallel to the z-axis relative to the connecting chassis such that the connecting chassis bears against the connection piece. An actuator having a coupling device of said kind and a method for mechanically coupling an actuator to a valve are also described.

    • The mechanical coupling of an actuating element of a valve to a connection element of an actuator is accomplished with the actuating element able to be displaced along a z-axis for the purpose of adjusting the valve and the connection element, at a corresponding orientation of the actuator, can likewise be displaced along the z-axis relative to the valve by the actuator. The device has (a) a first coupling element which can be coupled to the actuating element so that a certain freedom of movement is provided between the first coupling element and the actuating element along the z-axis, (b) a second coupling element which can be coupled to the connecting element, (c) a connecting element which links the two coupling elements to each other in a movable manner, and (d) a clamping device which is arranged on the first coupling element and/or on the second coupling element and which is embodied such that, upon an actuation of the clamping element the two coupling elements are braced against each other, and an actuating element coupled to the first coupling element is clamped without play to the two coupling elements along the z axis.

    • A valve of a heating, ventilation and/or air conditioning system includes an actuator with a housing and a shaft which is arranged at least partially in the housing and which can be coupled directly or indirectly to the valve such that the valve can be adjusted during a rotation of the shaft. A hand-operated element can be coupled to the shaft via an overload clutch arranged between the hand-operated element and the shaft which limits a torque which is transmitted onto the shaft by the hand-operated element to a predetermined maximum value. The overload clutch has a coupling element and a replaceable spring element which presses the coupling element against the shaft such that the maximum value for the transmittable torque is dependent on the replaceable spring element.
