    • The present invention relates to a powder lacquer containing a mixture of(A) a polyisocyanate component in power form which is solid below about 40.degree. C. and liquid above about 150.degree. C. and(B) a organic polyhydroxyl component in powder form which is solid below about 40.degree. C. and liquid above about 150.degree. C.,components (A) and (B) being present in quantities corresponding to an equivalent ratio of isocyanate groups to hydroxyl groups of about 0.6:1 to 1.2:1, characterized in that component (A) is based on a polyisocyanate or polyisocyanate mixture which(a) does not contain any blocking agents for isocyanate groups,(b) has a content of free isocyanate groups (expressed as NCO) attached to tertiary, aliphatic or cycloaliphatic carbon atoms of about 8 to 24% by weight and an average NCO functionality of at least 2.1,(c) has a urethane group content (expressed as --NH--CO--O--) of about 3 to 30% by weight and(d) has an isocyanurate group content (expressed as C.sub.3 N.sub.3 O.sub.3) of 0 to about 30% by weight.The present invention also relates to the use of this powder lacquer for the production of coatings on heat-resistant substrates by methods known in powder lacquer technology.

    • The present invention relates to a process for the production of water- and solvent-resistant coatings by coating substrates with an aqueous coating composition containing as binder a mixture of(1) reaction products, containing anionic structural units of the formula ##STR1## in a quantity of 5 to 1200 milliequivalents per 100 g of said reaction products, obtained by reacting organic polyisocyanates with salts of cyanamide and bases selected from ammonia, volatile primary and secondary amines having a pKb-value of at least 3.1 and any volatile aliphatic tertiary amines and(2) polyepoxides having at least two epoxide groups per molecule and an epoxide equivalent of at least about 80, said polyepoxides being used in a quantity corresponding to an equivalent ratio of epoxide groups to anionic structural units of about 0.1:1 to 3:1, andcross-linking the binder at a temperature of about 5 to 200.degree. C. The present invention is also directed to the aqueous coating composition based on components 1 and 2.

    • This invention relates to new polyols modified by guanidine groups, to a process for the preparation thereof and to the use thereof as starting component for the preparation of preferably foamed polyurethane plastics. The process involves (A) reacting diisocyanato-carbodiimides corresponding to the following general formula:OCN--(R.sup.2 -N=C=N).sub.m R.sup.2 --NCOat a temperature of from about 25.degree. to 130.degree. C., optionally in the presence of an inert solvent, with polyhydroxyl compounds corresponding to the following general formula:A--OH).sub.nin an OH/NCO-ratio of from 1.2:1 to 30:1 to form a polyhydroxyl compound containing carbodiimide groups and (B) completely or partly reacting, at a temperature of from 0.degree. to 150.degree.
