    • A method of ordering the delivery of a unicast media stream to a second client terminal coupled to an IP Multimedia Subsystem network is described. The method comprises first sending a unicast media order from a first client terminal to an application server of said IP Multimedia Subsystem network. A Session Initiation Protocol INVITE message is then sent from the application server to said second client in response to receipt of said order, the INVITE message containing a media Universal Resource Locator identifying a media source. The Universal Resource Locator is used to exchange Real Time Streaming Protocol signalling between the second client terminal and the application server to initiate and control delivery of the media.

    • A method and arrangement in a multimedia gateway connected to a multimedia service network, for providing access to multimedia services for communication devices connected to a private network. The multimedia gateway may include a device database, a communication unit and a logic unit. A service identity is associated with the multimedia gateway and is valid in the multimedia service network. When a session request is received, a session is established on behalf of at least one device in the private network using said service identity and capabilities of said at least one device. Thereby, no individual service identity is necessary for the selected device(s). If the session request is a session invitation of an incoming request, said at least one device is selected based on capability requirements for the session.

    • A method and apparatus for establishing a Quality of Service QoS in an access network for a multimedia session between a home network and a remote device located outside the home network. At least one of the remote device and the home network is connected to the access network. When a session invite message is received from the remote device for device discovery in the home network, a default QoS is enforced in the access network. When a session re-invite message is received from the remote device for media communication with a selected home device in the home network, the QoS requirements are determined for the media communication based on session parameters exchanged during the setup of the media communication. An updated QoS is then enforced for the session in the access network based on the determined QoS requirements.
