    • An object detection device includes a first generator (43), a second generator (44), a detector (45), and a divider (46). The first generator (43) generates a first map in which a pixel location of an image in a direction of one axis, a disparity value at the pixel location, and a disparity frequency at which the disparity value appears are associated with one another. The second generator (44) generates a second map obtained by converting a unit of a pixel location on the first map into a unit of an actual distance. The detector (45) detects a group of connected pixels that have a disparity frequency not less than a predetermined value on the second map as an isolated area where an object is present. The divider (46) divides the isolated area based on a disparity frequency of each pixel in the isolated area.
