摘要： A dispenser is provided for dispensing cleaning chemicals such as toilet bowl cleaners. It has a dosing chamber containing therein a floating shuttle that seals a lower opening in the dosing chamber and floats up there from as an aliquot of chemical is prepared for release during the next cycle. There is also a float controlled external valve head at a lower end of the dispenser for alternately opening and closing a lower opening in the dosing chamber. The level of water in the toilet tank controls the movement of the valve head, and dispensing of the cleaner chemical controls movement of the floating shuttle. A grommet provides a valve seat for both the floating shuttle and valve head.

摘要： A multi-sensory product able to disperse chemical actives using reeds or other wicks, as well as providing a light show is disclosed. The product includes a form-within-a-form design wherein the inner form or vase is able to store the chemical actives, as well as mount the reeds or other wicks. The outer vase complements the aesthetics of the inner vase while at the same time concealing the electronics of the device. The electronics of the device can include a power source, as well as a circuit board for driving LEDs mounted thereon. The LEDs can generate a light show which can be refracted and diffused through the glass or polymer material forming the inner and outer vases thereby creating an aesthetically pleasing and multi-sensory experience through the use of the product.

摘要： Disclosed are liquid dispensing devices suitable for use to dispense liquid from a container. They have a conventional sprayer associated with a flexible down tube. The down tube has an essentially rigid upper section linked to the sprayer, an essentially rigid lower section suitable to extend into the container, and an intermediate flexible section. An essentially rigid member (e.g. a sleeve) is mounted on/to the down tube so as to move between a first position in which it covers the flexible section so as to restrict pivoting of the lower section relative to the upper section, to a second position in which it permits the lower section to pivot relative to the upper section. As the down tube is being inserted in the container a flange on the sleeve is held by the container lip so that the sleeve is caused to move between the two positions. The down tube structure is thus rigid during assembly of the tube with the container, but automatically becomes flexible thereafter. Methods of assembly are also disclosed using these structures.
