摘要： A cable connector includes an insulative housing including two sidewalls and a mating slot defined between the two sidewalls, and a plurality of terminals received in the insulative housing. The terminals include contacting portions exposed to the mating slot and connecting portions behind a rear end of the insulating housing. The two sidewalls are loaded with a first row and a second row of the plurality of terminals respectively. The first row includes signal terminals and grounding terminals. A grounding plate is inserted in the insulating housing and between two rows of terminals. The grounding plate defines resilient arms and connecting legs, the resilient arms slant to the first row and touch with the grounding terminals.

The number of terminals are secured in the corresponding passageways. Each terminal has a contacting section. 摘要： An electrical connector assembly includes a female connector (100) and a male connector (200) mating with each other. Each of the female connector and the male connector includes a housing (1, 4) and a number of terminals (2, 5) secured in the housing. The housing has a number of channels and a number of standoffs (13) arranged alternately along a lengthwise direction, and a number of indentations (14) each defined beside a corresponding standoff. Two adjacent standoffs are staggered. Each terminal has a contacting section. The contacting sections of the terminals of the female connector contact with those of the terminals of the male connector. The standoffs of the male connector engage with the indentations of the female connector.

摘要： A card connector includes a main housing having a base portion, a pair of side walls and a bottom wall connecting with said base portion and side walls thereby defining a receiving cavity therebetween. A multiple groups of contact sets comprise contacting portions projecting into the receiving cavity. A metallic shell covers a top side of the main housing and defines an insertion opening together with the main housing at a front end thereof. A pair of guiders are floatably assembled on the bottom wall and respectively located beside the side walls. Each guider has a spring member disposed thereunder. A pair of locking devices are located at opposite sides of the insertion opening. Each locking device has a stopping section detachably supporting the guider under so as to prevent unmated card to be inserted. If an appropriate size card is inserted it will actuate the locking devices to cause the guiders to become deflectable by that card. If an inappropriate size card is inserted it will not actuate the locking devices and the guiders will undeflectable and will block that card.

A group of converting terminals are mounted on the second housing with solder tails projecting out of the second surface and connecting portions projecting out of the first surface. A flexible printed circuit defines an input end and an output end thereof. The flexible printed circuit is attached to the first surface of the first housing with the tails of the multiple groups of terminals connecting with the input end and connecting portions of the converting terminals connecting with the output end.
