    • A technique enables improved efficiency with respect to various coiled tubing and well servicing operations. The technique utilizes a combined mobile unit having several types of equipment combined into at least one transportable unit. The combined mobile unit may comprise a coiled tubing reel having coiled tubing, a well servicing system mounted to deliver material through the coiled tubing, and/or other well servicing components with the gas delivery system. The gas delivery system has a pressurized liquid gas vessel to deliver gas that can be used for well servicing operations, including purging material from coiled tubing.

    • An apparatus for engaging with an outside diameter of a tubular comprises a device body having an internal surface that defines an internal diameter in a first position and allowing the tubular to pass therethrough and an actuator operable to move the internal surface of the device body from the first position to a second position, the second position defining an internal diameter less than the first position internal diameter. The internal surface of the device body is sized with a predetermined grip length for engaging with the outside diameter of the tubular. The grip length is determined by a function of the outside diameter of the tubular and the coefficient of friction between of the outside diameter of the tubular and the interior surface of the device body and the device body is operable to engage with a tubular having a predetermined range of outside diameters.

    • A pump has power and fluid ends wherein one or more of the drive rods are offset from the plungers. An offset coupler connects a drive rod to an offset plunger. A method includes connecting the offset power end to the standard fluid end using the offset coupler. A repair and maintenance system includes inventories of standard fluid ends, power ends including offset power ends, and adapters, and a population of in service pumps, whereby the pumps can be repaired by removing and replacing the power ends from inventory using the adaptor where the replacement power end unit is offset. Another method includes removing and replacing the power end with one from the inventory, wherein the adapter is used in the case of an offset power end, whereby the offset and standard power ends may be used interchangeably.

    • A modular work system permits Rig Up time to be substantially reduced by reducing the number of crane lifts required to offload equipment for a transport boat or vehicle. This is achieved by developing transport skids capable of holding multiple system components. The number of equipment components that must be mechanically coupled on location is reduced by pre-assembling the components and maintaining the assembly in operating condition during storage and transport. Skid design concepts are employed, wherein a skid system carries various pre-assembled components for transport, storage and operation. Specifically, a skid sub-system includes various related components. The components are either pre-assembled or are designed to complete a sub-assembly through final assembly on the rig. The skid is moved into place using the crane, and the assembly is completed. Additional sub-systems are mounted on additional skids which are designed to be mated with the other related skids and sub-assemblies. Each skid sub-system fits in an envelope meeting transportation regulations for vehicle width and height. The system is particularly suitable for jacking frame operations.
