    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcing method for beams or girders of a new RC viaduct, by which a process for filling a clearance between a reinforcement object portion and a reinforcing member with a binding material can be simplified.SOLUTION: A reinforcing member 21 with a U-shaped cross-section is applied to a vertical beam 6 to be reinforced, and through bolts 25 are penetrated through both side parts of the reinforcing member and the vertical beam 6 and they are connected together. A clearance between the reinforcing member 21 and the vertical beam 6 (a side clearance D1, a bottom clearance D2, a bolt outer periphery clearance D3) is filled with grout as a binding material and thus a grout layer 28 is formed. The quality of material of the grout, the side clearance D1, the bottom clearance D2, the bolt outer periphery clearance D3, that is, a diameter of a through-hole 6h for the through bolt 25 are set such that: before the grout made to flow down from the side of one side portion of the side clearance D1 passes through the bottom clearance D2, rotates around to the side of the other side portion, and reaches an opening of the side of the other side portion of the through-hole 6h, the grout having passed through the through-hole 6h flows out from an opening of the side of the other side portion.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a design aid of a method for filling a clearance between a reinforcing member and an object lateral bridge part by a binding material, by penetrating a penetration bolt through both side parts and the object lateral bridge part of the reinforcing member, by applying the reinforcing member of joining a viaduct column to a bottom part, to a beam or a girder (the object lateral bridge part) of a reinforced concrete structure viaduct.SOLUTION: A design aid method comprises: an assuming sectional force setting step (a step S2) of setting assuming sectional force of operating on a joining part between the object lateral bridge part and the viaduct column; a temporary setting step (a step S10) of setting a temporary arrangement constitution of the penetration bolt; a bearing force calculation step (steps S22-S28) of calculating first bearing force of the joining part to the bending moment of the viaduct column with one end part in a lateral bridge direction of the reinforcing member as the rotational center and second bearing force to axial force and shearing force in the joining part based on a temporary arrangement constitution; and an evaluation step (a step S30) of evaluating the temporary arrangement constitution based on the assuming sectional force, the first and second bearing forces and a given safety factor.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve reinforcement of an object lateral frame part (a beam or a girder) of a new RC viaduct, in which the degree of coupling between a reinforcing object part and a reinforcing member is further increased.SOLUTION: A reinforcing member 21 with a U-shaped cross-section is applied to a vertical beam 6 to be reinforced, and through bolts 25 are penetrated through both side parts of the reinforcing member and the vertical beam 6 and they are fixedly connected together by fasteners 26. A clearance between the reinforcing member 21 and the vertical beam 6 (a side clearance D1, a bottom clearance D2, a bolt outer periphery clearance D3) is filled with grout as a binding material and thus a grout layer 28 is formed. The fastener 26B includes a tightening operation part for fixedly fastening it to the through bolt 25 and a washer part for blocking a through-hole 21h of the reinforcing member 21 from the outside for allowing the through bolt 25 to pass therethrough. A grout layer 28 is formed also in the through-hole 21h. A force F1 from the vertical beam 6 to the through bolt 25 and a force F2 from the through bolt 25 to the reinforcing member 21 are transmitted by the grout layer 28. Therefore, there is no transmission loss between the reinforcement object and the reinforcing member 21, thus achieving a firm and rigid connection.
