摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a child to propel a ride-on toy in such a manner that the child sits on a seat and touches a travel surface by foots and legs which pass through openings formed in a body when the child uses the ride-on toy, and to facilitate a person like an adult protector standing outside the toy body to propel the toy.
SOLUTION: A children's ride-on toy 20 includes a first guide rail, a second guide rail, a seat 29, and a footrest 36 making the first guide rail slidably engaged with the second guide rail. The footrest 36 slides between an operation position and a stowed position, where the stowed position is under the seat 29 of the toy. The footrest 36 includes a bottom wall, a front end wall, a rear end wall, a first side wall, and a second side wall. The first and second side walls are characterized by having outer rims that define first and second guide rail channels that make the first and second guide rails engaged with each other on the toy body.
