The diameter of the impression cylinder core 2 is partially increased on the lower side of the edge part range of the pressure cylindrical body 3 and does not change on the lower side of the printing region of the pressure cylindrical body 3. Further, this deformed member 12 is connected to a supply passageway 6 to supply a pressure load to the deformed member 12.

At the time of formation of the sleeve, the edges of the plate fixed to the frame edges 5 and 6 are brought into contact with each other and are joined.

Besides a positioning device 6 for determining a reproducible position is installed on at least one of the end faces 3, 5 of the rubber blanket.

Mechanisms 27, 28, 29 and 30 for manipulating the sleeves 24 for accurately moving the positions of the sleeves 24 are incorporated into a protection bar protecting the fingers of a worker from printing clearances formed of two cylinders of two printing mechanisms facing each other.

A ramp-like transition piece 11 is formed as one slide coating on the ring channel 9, and a part 12 of its surface is so formed as to be on the same plane as the surface of the supporting section 8 of the plate cylinder 1. A coating material is composed of a material different from a material coating the remaining surface of the cylinder 1, and the material for the printing form 2 is protected from being brought into contact with the cylinder, particularly with a chrome-coated cylinder, when being expanded on the surface of the guide face of the transition piece. The wear of the printing form is prevented by the slide coating.
