SOLUTION: By turning a cam 37 and rocking a rocking arm 36 centering a supporting shaft 38, transfer rollers 22Y, 22M and 22C are moved up and down, and the carrying belt 21 of the transfer unit 20A laid over a driving roller 31, a driven roller 32 and a tension roller 33 and circularly moving in a transfer material carrying direction contacts with and separates from photoreceptor drums 10Y, 10C, 10M and 10BK, whereby a toner image is transferred to transfer material 100 carried by the belt 21. The center of the rocking of the arm 36 is positioned more outward in the transfer material carrying direction than the drum 10BK arranged at the end. Thus, the rocking angle of the arm 36 is made small and the unit 20A is miniaturized.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a large volume of stacking (about 1000 sheets) in size-mixed loading and to enhance stacking (consistency in stacked paper) by adding simple improvement to a delivery part without adding complicate constitution, including the provision of an elevating mechanism to the delivery part. SOLUTION: An image-forming device enables paper running, from large-sized transfer paper to small-sized transfer paper and has constitution being provided with a delivery surface having a delivery capacity of up to 1500 sheets. In this case, the delivery surface 13 is constituted from three flat surfaces successively arranged from the front to the heart in the delivery direction from a delivery roller. The central flat surface 16 is provided with a landing function for the delivered transfer paper. The flat surface 15 at the front has a function of dropping the completely delivered transfer paper along the delivery surface.

    • PURPOSE:To ensure reliable paper feeding and to avoid the occurrence of an unsent or folded paper sheet. CONSTITUTION:Ranging from the upper stream side to the downstream side of a paper sheet sending direction (direction as arrow-marked (S) in the figure) of a separating member 2, a paper sheet guide member 5 is prepared. The paper sheet guide member 5 is placed symmetrically with the right and left sides (facing the paper sheet sending direction) of the separating member 2 (both upper and lower sides when expressed in the direction perpendicular to the figure or this paper). The separating member 2 is brought, at the vicinity of its lower end in contact with a feed roller 1, and the contact position is placed on the downstream side in the paper sheet sending direction than the pressure-contact position between the separating member 2 and the feed roller 1. Since the paper sheet (P) is guided to a separating position (the pressure- contact position between the separating member 2 and the feed roller 1) while it is guided by the paper sheet guide member 5, even when the paper sheet is curled or is sprung up, the paper sheet (P) is correctly guided to a pressure contact nip so as to ensure reliable separation, feeding, and sending of the sheet (P).

    • PURPOSE:To provide a paper feed device in which paper sheets are surely fed regardless of the quantity of loaded paper sheets without generating non-feed of the paper sheet or bending of the extreme end part. CONSTITUTION:A presser plate 5 for pressing a document P from the over side is rotationally movably supported by a shaft 6. When only one sheet is between the presser plate 5 and a pick up roller 3, the underside of the presser plate 5 is positioned on the tangential line connecting the pick up roller 3 to a feed roller 2. A thin pressing subsidiary member 7 formed out of elastic material such as PET film is stuck on the underside of the presser plate 5. The extreme end of the pressing subsidiary member 7 is extended from the extreme end of the presser plate 5 in the direction of a separation member 4, and when the presser plate 5 is at the lowest position, the length of the member 7 is set so that the extreme end of the member 7 is positioned direct before the separation member 4. When the number of loaded paper sheets is a few, the extreme end of the paper sheets is pressed by the extreme end part of the member 7 so as to be prevented from upward curl and jumping up, and hence the paper sheets are surely guided to the pressing contact part of the separation member 4 and the feed roller 2.
