    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effective carrying device applicable when excavating a large depth shaft and efficiently carrying a carrying object in the vertical direction. SOLUTION: This carrying device is provided with a bucket 1 for housing a carrying object, a guide frame 10 for guiding a movement of the bucket and a series of hydraulic cylinders 20 for carrying the bucket by being successively actuated while delivering the bucket. An engaging mechanism 21 guided by a guide frame is arranged in a tip part of the hydraulic cylinders, and the engaging mechanism 21 is engaged with an engaging member 4 of the bucket to be carried. The hydraulic cylinders are respectively inclined against the carrying direction to avoid mutual interference between the tip part and a base end part of the vertically continuing hydraulic cylinders. A lock mechanism is arranged to lock the bucket. A raising guide frame provided with a raising hydraulic cylinder and a lowering guide frame provided with a lowering hydraulic cylinder are juxtaposed. The carrying device is applied when excavating a large depth shaft, the guide frames are supported by a girth 15 to a wall surface of the shaft, and an oil pressure cylinder is adpoted as the hydraulic cylinders.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To muck debris from tunnel of a small section efficiently. SOLUTION: A plurality of muck cars 20 running forward and backward in prescribed allotted sections are allocated on tracks between the vicinity of a face 2 of a tunnel extended with the advance of the face and a pithead 8 of the tunnel. The muck produced at the face 2 is put in a container bag 10 which is brought into the vicinity of the face 2 and set temporarily in a folded state. The container bag 10 fully loaded with the muck is carried toward the pithead 8 by the muck car 20 waiting at a starting point A. The container bag 10 is transferred from the muck car 20 arriving at a load transfer point B, the terminal of the prescribed allotted section, to the subsequent muck car 20 waiting to run for carriage through the next section. Furthermore, cyclic running wherein the muck car 20 emptied after the operation for transfer returns to the starting point is executed for each of the allocated muck cars 20, and thereby the muck produced at the face 2 of the tunnel is brought to the pithead 8 thereof.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively execute a shield work in the economical face, the management face, and the construction period face, by providing sealing means at the outer periphery of a shield machine and sealing the gap between the tunnel wall and the shield machine in passing through the tunnel wall of an arrival shaft. SOLUTION: Pressing type sealing means 4, 5 continuing in the circumferential direction are provided in two stages with a distance from each other in the excavating direction in advance, in the skin plate 3 of the outer periphery of a shield machine 2. When the sealing means 4 of the front end has positioned within the thickness range of the tunnel wall 1 of the arrival shaft, the first stage 4 of the sealing means is actuated with pressure. And then, the second stage 5 of the sealing means is actuated with pressure before the first stage 4 of the sealing means 4 passes through the tunnel wall 1 of the arrival shaft. In this way, one of the sealing means 4, 5 seals always the gap 1a from the tunnel wall 1 when the shield machine 2 pierces the tunnel wall of the arrival shaft. Accordingly, the shield work can be effectively executed in the economical face, the management face, and the construction period face.
