摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable supply of respiration gas to a patient through the nose openings without generation of unpleasant stimulation on the face of the patient by limiting the upper limit of closed range of mask assembly with the lower end of nose including the fore end and side, and limiting the lower limit with the upper lip. SOLUTION: Assembly of a mask 12 and a head gear is set on proper posititions of the face and head of a user. A seal part 52 of the mask 12 is expanded by gas pressure in a cavity 56 to sealingly contact the face of the user in a range between the nose lower part and upper lip of the user, and the opening of the assembly faces the noze holes. Concretely, the contact range of mask seal including the contact by an outer surface 102 of peripheral part 100 of cushion member 50 is limited to part of the face of user defined by the vetical range of which upper limit is the fore end of the nose of user adjacent to the noze holes and the adjacent sides and of which lateral limit is the cheek parts of the user's face adjacent laterally to both the bottom of the nose and the upper lip.
