    • PURPOSE:To prevent rails from buckling, by fastening a pressure-receiving plate having the same length as the interval of crossties or larger at the end of the wooden crosstie with fixtures having a slot at the center thereof and a generally cranked shape. CONSTITUTION:An almost crank-shaped fixture 12 is inserted into a slot bored at the center of the corner of a pressure-receiving plate 11 having the same length with the pitch of crossties or longer to assemble a buckling preventive device 10. For this pressure-receiving plate 11, a structural L-shaped rolled steel in the market may be used. The external side of the vertical part 14 of the pressure-receiving plate 11 in the buckling preventive device 10 is pressed at the end 21 of a wooden crosstie 20, where ballast 40 are removed, by the vertical part 18 of the fixture 12 so that the upperface of the lower horizontal part 19 of the fixture 12 is made to contact the lowerface of the horizontal part 15 of the pressure-receiving plate 11 and the lowerface of the upper horizontal part 17 of the fixture 12 is made to contact with the upperface 22 of the wooden crosstie 20 and fixed with screw spikes 13. After the buckling preventive device 10 is fitted, ballast 40 is placed again to cover the horizontal part 15 of the pressure-receiving plate 11 and the weight of ballast is loaded with. In this way, the rail 30 can be prevented from buckling.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for guiding a vehicle traveling on both a railroad and a road to a railroad line, which can quickly switch the vehicle from the railroad to the road, and to provide a method of guiding the vehicle traveling on both the railroad and the road to the railroad line. SOLUTION: The structure is formed of base board members 1 to 3, and first and second guide wall sections. The base board members 1 to 3 each support railroad rails R and have a rubber tire traveling surfaces being flush with a tread of each railroad rail R, on both external sides of the railroad rails R. The first guide wall section has first guide inner wall surfaces S3, S4 which are perpendicular to the rubber tire traveling surfaces, and is arranged on both the external sides of the railroad rails R and on both external sides of the rubber tire traveling surfaces. Further a first inner wall width of the first guide wall section, corresponding to a distance between the first guide inner wall surfaces S3, S4 is gradually reduced like an inverted truncated chevron shape. The second guide wall section has second guide inner wall surfaces S5, S6 which are perpendicular to the rubber tire traveling surfaces, and is arranged on both the external sides of the railroad rails R and on both the external sides of the rubber tire traveling surfaces. A second inner wall width of the second guide wall section, corresponding to a distance between the second guide inner wall surfaces S5, S6 is set to a constant value almost equal to a minimum value of the first inner wall width located on one longitudinal end of the same.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect and disconnect a buckling preventing device by locating a bucking prevention plate under a center part of a track between cross ties, and fitting it to the cross ties through upper fixing members and lower fixing members. SOLUTION: At the time of fitting a buckling preventing device, after fitting an upper fixing member 12 and a lower fixing member 13 to a buckling preventing plate, both the fixing members 12, 13 are connected to each other by a connecting bolt 21. The buckling preventing device is inserted between the cross ties 14 around which the ballasts are removed, the cross ties 14 are clamped between the fixing members 12, 13 and the member 13 is fixed to the plate 11 by increased fastening of a nut 31. Next, the buckling preventing device is fixed to the cross ties 14 by increased fastening of the nut 30, and thereafter, ballast is filled so as to embed the buckling preventing plate. At the time of removing the buckling preventing plate, the nut 30 is removed, and bolts 23 which fixes the member 13 is pulled out, and the plate 11 is pulled upward for drawing with the member 12, and thereafter, the member 13 is taken out from under the cross tie 14. With this structure, since the buckling preventing plate can be removed by eliminating a little quantity of ballast, generation of looseness of the ballast can be prevented, and the buckling preventing plate can be recycled so as to lower the cost.

    • PURPOSE: To keep pullout-resistance in the same degree as that of a PC sleeper track by installing a pullout resistance reinforcing fitting, in which a mounting piece is disposed in upright at a center and which is formed of T-steel, between a pair of buckling preventive fittings. CONSTITUTION: The upper horizontal section 31 of a buckling preventive fitting 3 is abutted against a top face 21 at the central section of a sleeper 2. Dropping sections 32 are placed so as to be brought into press-contact with the side faces 22 of the sleepers 2. On the other hand, the buckling preventive fitting 3 is also placed to an adjacent sleeper while the mounting piece of a pullout resistance reinforcing fitting 5 is inserted between the bearing pressure sections 33 of both buckling preventive fittings 3, and held by the bearing pressure sections 33. Inserting holes 34 bored to the bearing pressure sections 33 of the buckling preventive fittings 3 and an inserting hole bored to the mounting piece of the reinforcing fitting 5 are conformed. A connecting bolt 6 is inserted, and a nut 9 is screwed, thus unifying the fittings 3 and the fitting 5. The buckling preventive fittings 3 are fixed onto the corresponding sleepers 2 by screw spikes 4. Accordingly, not only its own weight of the fitting 5 but also pullout resistance force for pulling out the fitting can be put to practical use as the weight of a track skeleton.
