摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic composite damping material capable of vibration control of vibrating body provided with a curved vibration surface, a rail vibration control device using this magnetic composite damping material, and a damping method using the magnetic composite damping material. SOLUTION: This rail vibration damping device is provided with a constraining plate 14A made of a material having Young's modulus of 300 kgf/mm , and a magnetic layer 15 made of a polymer visco-elastic material containing magnetic powder magnetized to the extent of 25 to 15000 gausses, in remaining magnetic flux density, in which the shape of the front surface laminated on the constraining plate 14A is formed into such a shape as to match the curved surface of a rail body part R2, and capable of being magnetically attracted to the rail body part R2.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cope with a vibration body with ease by providing a restricting plate made of a material with a specific Young's modulus, a magnetic layer made of a polymer visco- elastic material containing magnetic powder with a specific residual magnetic flux density, and a regulating means matching a magnetic layer surface shape with a vibrating surface shape. SOLUTION: On a front face 14' side of a flat plate 14', which serves as a restricting plate 14 and is provided with elasticity and plasticity of a Young's modulus of 300kgf/mm or more, grooves 16a', 16' with U-shaped cross sections are arranged in the positions for grooves 16a, 16b, while on the back face 14b' side, a sheet material 15' is bonded and layered, and as a result, a flat plate type member 11 is formed. The sheet material 15', in which magnetic powder magnetized so that to be provided with residual magnetic flux density of 25-15000 gauss is dispersed and mixed, serves as a magnetic layer 15. CONSTITUTION:In a laminate formed by laminating a plate composed of a metal being a riged body and/or a rigid body other than a metal having Young's modulus of 300kgf/mm or more and/or a polymer viscoelastic body, a rubber layer 3 containing a magnetic powder and molded into a sheet shape by a press mold is formed to the single surface of the metal plate 1 through an adhesive layer 2. The rubber sheet of the rubber layer 3 is subjected to the magnetization treatment by a condenser magnetizing device in such a state that the surface thereof opposite to the surface bonded to the metal plate is closely brought into contact with a magnetizing yoke after the molding of the sheet but before the bonding to the metal plate. A magnetizing pattern is formed by single surface multipole magnetization so that S-poles and N-poles are alternately arranged on a flat surface in a stripe pattern and the interval thereof is 1-10mm.

摘要： PURPOSE:To provide a composite damping material capable of being simply mounted to a vibrator in a detachable manner and reduced in the temp. dependence of damping characteristics and capable of developing effective damping capacity within a wide temp. range by containing a magnetic powder in at least one plate composed of a rigid body and/or at elast one polymer viscoelastic layer of a laminate and magnetizing the same. CONSTITUTION:Anti-corrosion films 2 composed of iron phosphate are formed to both surfaces of a metal plate 1. Next, a primer is applied to both surfaces of the anti-corrosion films 2 to form primer layers 3. A rubber solution is applied to the primer layer 3 on the single surface side of the metal plate and vulcanized to form a rubber layer 5 containing 80wt.% of strontium ferrite. The composite damping material constituted as mentioned above is brought into close contact with a magnetizing yoke on the side of the magnetic powder- containing rubber layer 5 to be subjected to magnetizing treatment by a condenser magnetizer. A magnetized pattern is formed so that N-poles and S-poles are alternately arranged on the plane of a magnetic body in a stripe form and the interval thereof is set to 1 - 10mm. As a rigid material other than the metal plate 1, a ceramic type one to which sintering treatment is applied or a synthetic resin one such as fiber reinforced plastic is used but the Young modulus thereof is desirably 300kgf/mm or more.
