Upon receiving a selection from a carrier or end user for interaction with at least one of the applications, the billing server generates a bill for that end-user interaction. The billing server can then collect the proceeds from the carrier or the end user through electronic payment or other methods, and distribute a portion of the proceeds to an appropriate application developer for the carrier end-user interactions with that developer's applications.
