A receiving device 100 has the adjustable filter which responds to the control signal, and a control device 130 constituted so as to select the frequency response of the adjustable filter by generating the control signal, on the basis of the geographical location. The geographical location indicates the operation range of the receiving device, and the frequency response is selected according to the range.
