摘要： Various methods for managing TCP communications in a mobile communication device may include determining whether there is an upcoming tune-away from a first RAT on the mobile communication device to a second RAT on the mobile communication device, adding a first timestamp to a TCP packet for transmission before the tune-away begins in response to determining that there is an upcoming tune-away from the first RAT to the second RAT, transmitting the TCP packet to a first network, performing the tune-away from the first RAT to the second RAT, triggering a retransmission time out on the first RAT, receiving a TCP acknowledgement (ACK) from the first network, in which the TCP ACK includes a second timestamp, determining whether the TCP ACK corresponds to the TCP packet, and restoring a prior congestion window value of the first RAT in response to determining that the TCP ACK corresponds to the TCP packet.
