摘要： Techniques for sending control information in a manner to improve reliability are described. In an aspect, control information may be sent on multiple control channels, which may be independently configured and operated, in order to improve reliability. In one design, a base station may send signaling to instruct at least one UE to receive control information on both a first control channel (e.g., a Physical Downlink control Channel (PDCCH)) and a second control channel (e.g., a Relay PDCCH (R-PDCCH)). The base station may send control information for the at least one UE on the first and second control channels, e.g., in different time and/or frequency regions of a subframe. In another aspect, control information may be sent on a control channel in multiple subframes with bundling to improve reliability. A user equipment (UE) may perform the complementary processing to recover the control information sent by the base station on multiple control channels or with bundling.

摘要： Methods and apparatus for partitioning resources for enhanced inter-cell interference coordination (eICIC) are provided. Certain aspects involve broadcasting a message indicating time-domain resource partitioning information (RPI), where a user equipment (UE) may be operating in idle mode. With the RPI, the UE may be able to identify protected resources with reduced/eliminated interference from neighboring cells. The RPI in this broadcasted message may be encoded as a bitmap as an alternative or in addition to enumeration of the U/N/X subframes. Other aspects entail transmitting a dedicated or unicast message indicating the time-domain RPI, where a UE may be operating in connected mode. With the RPI, the UE may be able to determine channel state information (CSI), make radio resource management (RRM) measurements, or perform radio link monitoring (RLM), based on one or more signals from a serving base station during the protected time-domain resources.

摘要： A method and apparatus are for communication in a wireless network in which a User Equipment (UE) associated with a first evolved Node B (eNB) experiences interference from a second eNB. The method includes negotiating by the first eNB of the wireless network with a second eNB of the wireless network for a partitioning of subband resources on an uplink. A first subset of subband resources is assigned to the first eNB, and a second subset of subband resources is assigned to the second eNB. A method and apparatus are for communication in a wireless network. The method includes decoding a downlink control channel received during a protected downlink subframe to determine an uplink subframe n containing a protected subband for uplink transmission. The method also includes transmitting data during the uplink subframe n on the protected subband.

摘要： One aspect discloses transition behavior of dynamically changing subframe interlaces and the corresponding behavior of the bases stations during the changing. A method of wireless communication includes receiving (1010,1020) a request to dynamically change a subframe interlace. The subframe interlace is transitioned and during the transition new data transmission is prevented on the prohibited subframe interlace and retransmissions are allowed on the prohibited subframe interlace (1012). Alternatively, during the transition pending retransmissions on the prohibited subframe interface are prevented (1022) and all pending retransmissions waiting to be scheduled on the subframe interface are stopped and corresponding packets are discarded (1024).

摘要： Interference issues between wireless network devices are mitigated. An evolved node B (eNodeB) may experience higher cell load or higher interference when serving user equipment (UEs) that are operating in an cell range extension (CRE) area in which the UEs are strongly affected by aggressor eNodeBs. An eNodeB experiencing higher cell load or serving user equipments (UEs) under higher interference generally requests an interfering/aggressor eNodeB to repartition some of its resources. Repartitioning of resources, however, may have a negative impact on the eNodeB serving CRE area UEs. In one aspect, a new measurement of utilization accounts for CRE status and differentiates between protected and unprotected resources, such as sub frames.

摘要： Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A transmitting device, which may be configured without a radio link control (RLC) layer, may receive a packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) protocol data unit (PDU) at a media access control (MAC) layer. The device may then generate a set of transport blocks at the MAC layer using the PDCP PDU and transmit them over a wireless connection. A receiving device, which may also be configured without an RLC layer, may receive the transport blocks at the MAC layer, generate a MAC service data unit (SDU), and convey the MAC SDU to a PDCP. In some cases, the receiving device may then send an acknowledgement (ACK) or negative acknowledgement (NACK) for each transport block that includes a portion of the PDCP PDU, and the transmitting device may indicate to the PDCP layer whether the PDCP PDU was successfully received.
