摘要： The present invention provides a nematic liquid crystal composition suitable for a bistable nematic liquid crystal display. A bistable nematic liquid crystal display having a wide nematic phase temperature range and operating temperature range can be obtained by using a nematic liquid crystal composition comprising at least 20% by weight of a specific liquid crystal compound (A) having a polar group and 5 to 50% by weight of a specific liquid crystal compound (B) not having a polar group, along with comprising, in the compound (B), at least 3% by weight of a specific liquid crystal compound having a alkenyl group.

Electrical tracks connect the electronic control circuit with the electro-optical element and the power supply source, and affixing elements attach the electronic card to a substantially planer surface. The electrical tracks having embrittlement grooves which destroy the connections made by the electrical tracks upon removal of the electronic card from the substantially planer surface to which the electronic card is attached. The electronic card is suited for applications in the identification and automatic detection of objects and in particular, stolen vehicles.

摘要： A resin crosslinkable by electron or photon irradiation (gamma rays, X-rays or ultraviolet rays), which is (after crosslinking) very stable under the action of ambient light and heat. It contains a substance the chemical formula of which comprises a thietane ring: ##STR1## notably a compound of the methacrylic ester polymer type wherein the monomer has the general formula: ##STR2## wherein n may be zero or equal to an integer from 1 to 10. The process for using such a resin consists of dissolving it in a solvent, then applying a thin layer of the solution on the object to be coated and finally treating the coating by irradiation.
