    • A method is disclosed for the manufacture of a novel chenille upholstery fabric and chenille decorative throw. The chenille yarn contains a continuous filament binder yarn comprising a polymer selected to have a melting point which allows melting to occur at maximum speeds either in a tenter frame or in a heat setting machine. The chenille yarn comprises a pile, a core and the continuous filament binder yarn. The chenille fabric is woven from the chenille yarn and the binder yarn is melted to bind the pile to the core. In one embodiment the melting occurs in a tenter frame during the curing of a latex backing for the fabric. In a second embodiment, the melting occurs in a heat setting machine prior to weaving. As part of both embodiments, the core is air textured together with the binder yarn.

    • A method for tracking modifications to tables or relationships. In one embodiment, the method includes updating a first value stored in a first field of a record in a table in response to a database system receiving a first structured query language (SQL) statement from a customer relationship management (CRM) application. A first record is inserted into a history table in response to the first SQL statement, wherein the first record comprises a foreign key field that stores a copy of the primary key of the record, a field that stores a copy of the first value after it is updated, a field that stores a name of the first field, and a first date field. The first date field stores either the date when the first SQL statement was received by the database system, the date of the day that immediately follows the date when the first SQL statement was received by the database system, or a date that was entered into a field of a user interface.

    • A video microcode resides on a video board of the computer conferencing system. A video capture driver, a video manager, and a video applications programming interface reside on a general-purpose host processor of the computer conferencing system. The video microcode receives local analog video signals, generates local compressed video signals corresponding to the local analog video signals, and passes the local compressed video signals to the video capture driver. The video capture driver controls the operations of the video microcode and passes the local compressed video signals to the video manager. The video manager passes the local compressed video signals to a communications subsystem of the computer conferencing system for transmission over a communications link to a remote computer conferencing system. The video manager receives remote compressed video signals from the communications subsystem and passes the compressed video signals to the video capture driver, the communications subsystem having received the remote compressed video signals over the communications link from the remote computer conferencing system. The video capture driver generates remote decompressed video signals corresponding to the remote compressed video signal for local playback.

    • An audio task residing on an audio/communications board of an audio subsystem in a computer conferencing system. An audio manager and an audio applications programming interface reside on a host processor of the computer conferencing system. The audio task receives local analog audio signals, generates local compressed audio signals corresponding to the local analog audio signals, and passes the local compressed audio signals to a communications subsystem of the computer conferencing system for transmission over a communications link to a remote computer conferencing system. The audio task receives remote compressed audio signals from the communications subsystem and generates remote decompressed audio signals corresponding to the remote compressed audio signal for local playback.
