    • A wagering game system and its operations are described herein. In some embodiments, the operations can include presenting primary wagering game content, during a wagering game session, in an area of a display assigned to a primary wagering game application. The operations can further include detecting player input that indicates activation of a secondary wagering game application during the wagering game session and superimposing a portion of the secondary wagering game content over the primary wagering game content in the first area of the display in response to the player input. The operations can further include generating an outcome value for a playing turn of the secondary wagering game application in response to the player input, and presenting the outcome value for the secondary wagering game application via the portion of the secondary wagering game content.

    • In some embodiments, the operations can include detecting a first indication to toggle a presentation of wagering game content from a two-dimensional mode to a three-dimensional mode and toggling the three-dimensional mode in response to detecting the first indication. In some embodiments, the operations can further include automatically toggling the presentation of the wagering game content back to the two-dimensional mode in response to detecting a second indication. In some embodiments, the operations can further include detecting a condition that specifies a degree of three-dimensional presentation to enable for the three-dimensional mode and presenting the wagering game content with the degree of three-dimensional presentation. In some embodiments, the operations can further include detecting a change to the condition and automatically adjusting the degree of the three-dimensional presentation based on the change to the condition.

In some embodiments, the operations can include receiving, via user input, values for variables related to a wagering game contest and detecting data for gaming activity that occurred, during a past time period. The operations can further include computing an expected value based on the values for the variables and the data for the gaming activity. The expected value represents a theoretical projected amount of money that would be accumulated via a portion of game wagers over a future time period based on the values for the variables and the data for the gaming activity that occurred during the past time period. The operations can further include funding the wagering game contest with a contest prize equivalent to the expected value, where the funding is from a source of money other than from the portion of the game wagers.
