    • A golf club putter includes a clubhead body sufficiently weighted to define a center of gravity of the golf club. The putter includes a reverse tapered shaft, preferably a graphite or fiberglass composite, elongated along a central axis continuously tapering radially inwardly, from: a larger outside diameter adjacent a tip end attached to the clubhead body, to: a smaller outside diameter adjacent a grip end. The reverse tapered shaft comprises longitudinally oriented graphite or fiberglass fibers in an arrangement that enables shaft torsional distorting forces imposed at the grip end during putting to be imparted to the clubhead and a golf ball thereby.

    • The invention relates to a method for deposition of at least one layer containing at least one first component on at least one substrate in a process chamber, wherein first and second starting materials are introduced in gaseous form into the process chamber in alternation cyclically, at least the first starting material of which contains the first component, to deposit essentially only one layer of the first component in each cycle. To widen the spectrum of available starting materials suitable for the process, it is proposed that the first starting material shall consist of two β-diketones and one diene coordinated with one ruthenium atom, and a limiter shall be introduced into the process chamber simultaneously with or some time after the first starting material, such that deposition of the first component on the substrate is automatically concluded after the first layer is completed, wherein the limiter is or contains octane, butyl acetates, tetrahydrofuran, methanol, ethanol, isobutylamines, triethylamines, butanol, cyclohexane, isooctane, dioxane, dimethylformamide, pyridine and/or toluene.

    • The invention relates to a process for depositing at least one layer, which contains at least one first component, on at least one substrate in a process chamber, first and second starting materials, of which at least the first starting material contains the first component, being introduced in gaseous form into the process chamber in a cyclically alternating manner, in order to deposit substantially only one layer at a time of the first component with every cycle. In order to increase the spectrum of suitable staring materials that are available the invention proposes that a first starting material which does not intrinsically allow itself to be deposited in a self-limiting manner, is used and, a limiter formed of a hydrocarbon is introduced into the process chamber in such a way that the depositing of the first component on the substrate automatically ends after completion of the first layer.

    • The invention relates to a liquid filter, for example an oil filter for cleaning lubricating oil, especially for use in internal combustion engines of motor vehicles. A ring-shaped filter insert separates an unclean side from a clean side in the interior of the liquid filter. A metal filter housing comprises a first flange with which the liquid filter can be screwed to a component via a screw connection, said component having an inlet for uncleaned liquid, an outlet for cleaned liquid and a relatively pressureless idle duct. The first flange contains an axially acting outer seal that includes inlet, outlet and idle duct, and a carrier receiving compartment encircled by the outer seal. A functional carrier insert is inserted in the carrier receiving compartment and is provided with an inlet compartment open towards the inlet, an outlet compartment open towards the outlet, and a idle duct compartment open towards the idle duct, the individual compartments being sealed from one another by axially acting inner seals. The screw connection with which the first flange is screwed to the component acts in the axial direction and axially forces the axially acting seals against the component, while the functional carrier insert rests on the first flange.
