    • An input interface (3) comprises a display (23), a window (21) overlaid on the display (23), and a housing (13-15) supporting the window (21). A first sensor arrangement (31, 32) is configured to sense a position of a touch action on the window (21) in two dimensions. The first sensor arrangement (31, 32) comprises a first plurality of conductive traces (32). A second sensor arrangement (41-43) is configured to sense a magnitude of a force applied by the touch action onto the window (21). The second sensor arrangement (41-43) comprises a second plurality of conductive traces (41, 42) and a force sensing material (43). The first plurality of conductive traces (32) and the second plurality of conductive traces (41, 42) are positioned on an inner face (30) of the window (21) and attached to the inner face (30) of the window (21). The force sensing material (43) is attached to the inner face (30) of the window (21) such that the force sensing material (43) contacts the second plurality of conductive traces (41, 42).

    • A method for operating a touch sensitive user interface is provided. The touch sensitive user interface comprises a touch sensitive surface (3) and at least two force sensitive sensors (15-66). The touch sensitive surface (3) is configured to provide a touch information indicating touch positions (6, 8) of at least two concurrent touches (5, 7) on the touch sensitive surface (3). The at least two force sensitive sensors (15- 66) are mounted at the touch sensitive surface (3) at different predetermined locations (11-14). Each of the at least two force sensitive sensors (15-66) is configured to generate a corresponding force information depending on a force being exerted on the corresponding force sensitive sensor (15-66). According to the method, the touch positions (6, 8) are determined based on the touch information and the force information is received from the at least two force sensitive sensors (15-66). Based on the at least two touch positions (6, 8), the force information from the force sensitive sensors (15-66) and the predetermined locations (11-14) of the force sensitive sensors (15- 66) a corresponding touch force is determined for each of the concurrent touches (5, 7).

    • A touch panel is provided. The touch panel comprises a carrier panel (400), a first electrically conductive layer (100), an electrically isolating layer (200), and a second electrically conductive layer (300). The first electrically conductive layer (100) is arranged on a surface of the carrier panel (400) and comprises a first pattern of a plurality of electrically separated areas (11-85). The electrically isolating layer (200) is arranged on the first electrically conductive layer (100) and comprises openings (201) providing access to at least some of the electrically separated areas (11-85) through the electrically isolating layer (200). The plurality of electrically separated areas (301, 302) of the second pattern comprises at least one bridging area (301) electrically coupling at least two of the plurality of electrically separated areas (11-54) of the first pattern through at least two of the openings (201) of the electrically isolating layer (200), and a shielding area (302) electrically isolated from the plurality of electrically separated areas (11-85) of the first pattern.
