    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable cone penetration test device usable as simply as a portable cone penetration test device on the ground and enabling easy ground investigation when investigating the sea bottom ground.
      SOLUTION: The portable cone penetration test device is provided with a support frame having a thin and long shape, a guide member supported to the support frame in the vertical direction, a cylindrical casing supported to the guide member and freely movable in the vertical direction, a coil spring stored in the casing, a presser abutted on an upper end of the coil spring, and a rod for penetration operation capable of pressing an upper end side of the presser. The cone penetration rod is detachably fixed to a lower end of the casing, and a cone for penetration is mounted to a lower end of the rod. The casing is provided with a bending amount measuring scale capable of measuring the bending amount of the coil spring visually. A press-down force for pressing the rod for penetration operation downward is transmitted to the rod for penetrating cone through the coil spring to measure penetration resistance by the bending amount of the coil spring and its spring constant in the penetration of the cone.

The soil based deformation followable impervious material D includes sand S in a volume ratio of 0.05 to 0.3 when total volume immediately after mixing is assumed to be 1 and a coefficient of permeability immediately after mixing is 3×10cm/s or less.
