    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight soil placing method applicable to effective reuse of lightweight soil falling out of an allowable range in terms of a target density in execution of lightweight soil placement.
      SOLUTION: After preparing the lightweight soil made of mud as a base material, the density of the lightweight soil is measured before placement, and part of the lightweight soil falling in the allowable range in terms of the target density is placed, followed by returning the remaining lightweight soil falling out of the allowable range in terms of the target density to a lightweight soil preparing step to reuse the same. Preferably, the lightweight soil falling out of the allowable range in terms of the target density is hardened and then crushed, or it is kept in a state of slurry before hardening, and then returned to the mud of the base material.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a testing device and a test method of an underwater separation resistance test, capable of acquiring a measurement result adapted to an actual water area in underwater placing of light-weight soil.
      SOLUTION: The testing device measures underwater separation resistance of the light-weight soil placed in the water, this underwater separation resistance testing device is provided with a water-flow attenuation means and a water suction means on the peripheral wall of a water tank 20, wherein the light-weight soil is placed. Preferably, in the underwater separation resistance testing device, the water flow attenuation means is formed by a water-permeable sponge member 22, and the water suction means is formed by a plurality of water suction ports 23 provided at equal intervals so as to surround the water tank inside on the water tank peripheral wall, on the back side of the water-permeable sponge member 22 and a suction pump 24 connected to the water suction ports. The test method using the testing device is also provided.
